Electrical & Starting System Diagnosis
Starting system problems are frequently misdiagnosed — a new battery doesn't fix a bad solenoid, and a new solenoid doesn't fix an open safety switch. We test each component in the starting circuit to identify the actual fault before recommending any replacement.
What We Test
- Battery load test (not just resting voltage)
- Starter solenoid under load
- Safety switches — seat, brake, PTO/blade
- Starter motor current draw
- Charging system — stator output, voltage regulator
- Parasitic drain — current with key off
- Wiring harness condition and grounds
