When should I bring my snowmobile in for pre-season service?
September and October are the ideal months. We have full capacity before the rush and can return your sled well before the first significant snowfall. By mid-November we're typically backed up by several weeks. The best time is right after you pull it out of storage and remember it needs attention.
My snowmobile belt keeps shredding. What's causing it?
A belt that fails quickly almost always points to a clutch problem, not a belt quality issue. The primary clutch engages the belt at the wrong RPM, or the secondary clutch has worn sheave surfaces — either condition puts excessive heat and stress on the belt. We inspect the full clutch system and measure engagement RPM before recommending a repair.
My snowmobile sat since last season with fuel in the tank. Is that a problem?
Yes. Ethanol-blend fuel degrades over a storage period and can varnish carburetor passages on carbureted sleds or leave deposits in fuel injectors. We recommend draining old fuel and running fresh fuel through the system before storage — but if that didn't happen, we do a full fuel system service before the season.
Do you service fuel-injected snowmobiles?
