ATV & UTV Repair Near Jordan — Scott County Powersports Service
Scott County has some of Minnesota's best recreational trail access, and Jordan riders are some of our most frequent ATV and UTV customers. We're 8 miles west on U.S. 169. The Minnesota River valley terrain around Jordan puts real mechanical stress on ATVs — river bottom trails, mud, and steep banks take a toll on suspension, drive systems, and electrical connections. We diagnose ATV and UTV problems correctly before recommending repairs. Whether it's a no-start after a season of hard riding, a CVT belt issue, electrical gremlins, or brake work, we have the diagnostic equipment to find the real problem.

Why Diagnosis Matters
River-bottom and trail riding exposes ATVs to water, mud, and debris that can migrate into electrical connectors, CVT housings, and brake caliper pistons. Problems from trail contamination need different diagnosis than problems from fuel or mechanical wear. We've seen all of it and we track down the real cause before doing any work.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Can-Am belt keeps burning out. What's causing it?
A belt that burns quickly on a Can-Am or other CVT-equipped UTV usually points to clutch system problems — worn clutch weights, weak engagement springs, or sheave surfaces that are scored or out of spec. Replacing just the belt without servicing the clutch means you'll destroy the next belt at the same rate. We inspect the full CVT system before replacing the belt.
Can you diagnose water damage or mud contamination in my ATV?
Yes. Water intrusion into electrical connectors, starter motor ingestion, and mud-packed CVT housings are all things we encounter regularly from Minnesota river-bottom riding. We systematically inspect the affected systems and identify what needs to be cleaned, dried, or replaced.
Do you service youth ATVs?
Yes. We repair youth ATVs from most manufacturers. This includes engine service, fuel system cleaning, throttle limiter inspection, safety kill switch testing, and brake adjustment. Youth ATVs need the same mechanical attention as adult machines — sometimes more, given how they're used.
How do I get my ATV to your shop in Belle Plaine?
Most customers use a truck and trailer. Belle Plaine is 8 miles west of Jordan via U.S. 169 — about 10 minutes. If pickup is needed, call 612-816-8013 and we'll discuss availability.
